ArchiCAD Roof Sweep Tutorial

Want to create a roof sweep. If you take advantage of the PolyRoof geometry settings it is easier than it looks.

With the roof tool selected choose the polyroof method (automatic hip roof) and either draw a line around where the "birds mouth" or pivot line will go. You could also space bar click around the perimeter of the house. The following dialog will appear. Fill it out with the settings below or adjust for your roof.

Click OK and check the results.
